The article, based on materials from the editorial archive of the newspaper «Ukrainian News» (1945–2000), reveals the content of artistic topics on the pages of this influential publication, which was published for 55 years in Germany and the USA. The newspaper's articles about theater, music, painting and other types of art in the circle of Ukrainian emigration are considered as a phenomenon of Ukrainian culture in the world, and our art — as the basis of national identity.
