Author Guidelines

The Scientific Collection of the Ukrainian Free University welcomes original, previously unpublished research articles in the humanities and social sciences in Ukrainian, English, or German.

A submission must not be under consideration by another publication at the same time. All manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment and double-blind peer review.

The manuscript should include a title, an abstract of 150–300 words, and keywords. To preserve double-blind review, do not include authors’ names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other identifying information in the manuscript file. Author information must be entered only in the submission metadata in OJS.

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm the accuracy of the metadata, their right to use all included materials, and compliance with the journal’s editorial policy. If accepted, the article will be published under the Diamond Open Access model and the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, I confirm that:

  • the manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration by another publication;

  • the submission complies with the journal’s Author Guidelines;

  • the manuscript file has been anonymised for double-blind peer review and contains no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or other identifying information;

  • the manuscript includes a title, an abstract of 150–300 words, and keywords;

  • complete and accurate information for all authors has been entered in the submission metadata;

  • all citations, references, tables, figures, and other materials are properly prepared, and any necessary permissions have been obtained;

  • all relevant conflicts of interest and sources of funding have been disclosed, where applicable;

  • if accepted, the manuscript may be published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Research Articles

Peer-reviewed original research articles in the humanities and social sciences. Submissions are accepted in Ukrainian, English, and German. All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. Abstracts and keywords are provided in Ukrainian and English.

Copyright Notice

Authors retain copyright in their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Published material is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0).

This licence permits copying, distribution, adaptation, and reuse of the material, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the original source.
